Terms of service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the CityPros mobile application and the CityPros website (together, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use CityPros

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use CityPros. CityPros is a professional networking service. You agree to use it for professional purposes and to provide accurate information about yourself and your work.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account. You can delete your account, and the personal data associated with it, from Settings in the app.

3. Communities, events and member conduct

CityPros lets members join professional communities, publish events and contact one another. Community organizers set the rules for their own communities, including whether a community is private and what is asked of people who apply to join.

You agree not to use the Service to harass, spam, mislead or impersonate anyone, to post unlawful or infringing content, or to scrape or resell member information. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms. Any member can block or report another member, and reports are reviewed by a person.

4. Events

Events on CityPros are organized by the members and communities who publish them, not by CityPros. The organizer is responsible for the event, including its content, its venue and any admission cost. CityPros does not sell tickets and does not process payments for events. Where an event charges for entry, payment is handled outside the app, by the organizer.

5. Member Offers

Members may list services they provide, with optional pricing, on their profile and through Member Offers. These listings are provided by the member who publishes them. CityPros does not process payments between members, does not take a commission, and is not a party to any agreement you reach with another member. Any engagement you enter into is between you and that member.

6. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

CityPros is free to download and free to use. Some features are part of a paid plan.

• Where you buy. Subscriptions are purchased inside the app through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. There is no checkout on this website.
• Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• How to cancel. Manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Introductory offers. Where an introductory offer applies, the terms of that offer are shown at the point of purchase. When an introductory period ends without an upgrade, the community continues on the free plan. Nothing is deleted.
• Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple and Google, so refunds are governed by their policies and requested through them.
• Price changes. If we change the price of a plan, we will give notice before the change applies to your renewal, as required by the relevant app store.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant CityPros a non-exclusive licence to host, store and display your content for the purpose of operating the Service, including showing it to the members of a community you post in. You are responsible for having the rights to what you post.

8. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the Service. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes. Features described on this website reflect the Service as it is today and may develop over time.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. CityPros does not guarantee that you will make any particular connection, receive any particular introduction, or achieve any particular professional outcome. To the extent permitted by law, CityPros is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the conduct of other members, community organizers or event hosts, whether online or in person.

10. Termination

You may stop using CityPros at any time and delete your account from Settings in the app. We may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached, or where required by law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict of law rules. Nothing in these Terms removes a consumer protection you have under the law of the country you live in.
